Every site that we produce has the following features

• Content Management System (CMS) This means that you are in control of the content of your site – adding/amending copy and images as and when you like so no more waiting for your web design company to make changes and charging you for it – saving you time and money. Worried that this all sounds a little complicated? Don’t worry we supply you with bespoke video training clips which show you how to use the content management system for your site. If you can work a word processor then you can use a CMS. Still worried? Square One are always on hand to talk you through anything at no extra charge.
Of course you might be thinking “I’d rather just let the web company sort it out in!” which case we are more than happy to do that either on a monthly fee basis or adhoc basis (we always quote beforehand).
• Web standards compliance and accessibility All our websites are built to current web standards which means that the website is accessible to people with disabilities such as hard of hearing and the visually impaired. Following a complete website build it’s validated to ensure it meets these standards. This also means that your site is built correctly for search engines to find you.
• Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) We know it’s not enough to have a website and for you to just hope that your customers will find it. To ensure that potential customers can find your website easily we will make sure that your website’s structure and content is correct for the search engines. This is done by doing keyword research at a basic level and ensuring the content matches the web page meta data.
• Hosting & Email We have our own server where for only £85 a year we can host your website. For this price you have unlimited band width, 5Gb of webspace, unlimited email addresses, 3 x FTP accounts and 5 Databases. Changing your host is a relatively easy and smooth process if handled correctly and Square One will give you easy to understand instructions.
